About Me
I have always had a passion for storytelling, and I believe that game audio offers unique tools to help connect players to the games they play. There is a kind of magic that happens when we hear a sound or a song, and it brings us back to the first time, or most impactful time, we heard it. I find this fascinating, and I strive to push the technical and creative boundaries of modern sound design. My passion for audio in games ranges from both field and studio recording, foley art, dialogue editing, sound design, and technical implementation.
As a transgender, queer Jew from the American South, I appreciate diversity. My goal is to help create games that increase empathy and represent communities that have been previously underrepresented.
Games are the one of the best mediums for communication, and I believe that games are the key to helping us unlock the door to worldwide empathy. When you put your feet in someone else's shoes, be it Lara Croft, Mario, Sonic, Nathan Drake, or Tracer, you learn a bit more about what it would be like to be someone else. I want to make games that make people curious about themselves, about others, and about how they can bridge the gap between the two.
